So your Sim wants to be a Vocal Legend?
First off, of course, you have to join the Singer Career. This is done by using a computer or newspaper to Find a Profession and join the Singer Career. Once you've done that it's merely a game of climbing the ladder.
You can also customize your very own career outfit like I've done with Wytnr below.
Now the first thing you'll be able to do is Perform For Tips. This is the easiest way to get ahead. Do plenty of these and so as many Song-A-Grams as you can when they pop up in the notifications corner. Combine these two, learn some instruments and work your way into getting gigs. You need to audition for gigs through the venue owner; the Proprietor. They'll first pop up around small venues until you level up enough to play at the big ones. If they like you they will give you a gig and if not then... well they won't give you one. Impress them at the first gig to get a Steady Gig, which means that it will be recurring. You will be able to customize your own stage set up as well.
You'll earn money through your Weekly Stipend and from doing Sing-A-Grams and gigs. The more experience you have the more money you'll earn.
Performing for Tips:
Performing Song-A-Grams
Wyntr is now retired from her Singer Career. She retired when she got pregnant for the first time but had already achieved her dream of becoming a Vocal Legend.
The portrait to the right is of one of Wyntr's Steady Gigs. Performing on the stage is quite fun. you have control over the songs you sing and the interactions you make with the crowd. You can even mix the songs up a bit and arrange the verse and the chorus to your liking. I definitely recommend trying the Singer Career out if you're looking to expand your Sim 3 experiences.
Happy Simming!
